Senior / Principal Golang Engineer
WFH Remote & Hybrid Available

We’re currently working with a Global Tech Product Company who are looking to hire Seniors & a Principal Engineer for their Back End and Platforms Team!

You'll be interested to join a Fast-paced Dynamic Team working across Niche and Exploding Markets with Modern and Cutting Edge Technology.

You will be given the opportunity to:

• Design, architect and build a wide range of interesting & challenging features
• Build and maintain high-performance, scalable services in various languages (Golang, JavaScript etc)
• Contribute to a future-ready, high quality and performant code base
• Share technical ideas and solutions through best practice rituals such as design and code reviews
• Practice and preach best-practice engineering standards and processes

Experience working in a start-up or scaling product company is a huge plus but if you're an Engineer who is sick of red tape and want a role where you can truly make an impact, this is the place for you!

Skills required include:

• Commercial experience in building complex software systems
• Ideally at least 1+ years of commercial experience with Golang (or similar - i.e Java/Scala/Kotlin) in production
• Your focus and expertise would have been heavily in the Back End / Infra / DevOps / SRE space
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other SQL Databases
• High-traffic web applications and/or distributed services
• You will work with Serverless Architecture, Terraform and AWS (bonus not required for Seniors)
• AWS/GCP, Docker, and CI/CD tools (bonus)
